The Bogota Chico Office occupies of a well-lit modern building in the north of the city, in a thriving financial and commercial district. Like the rest of Bogota, the area is attracting multinational companies as Colombia expands beyond its traditional industries, like agriculture, mining and textiles into the service sector, especially telecoms. The city has been recognised by the Gates Foundation for its access to information systems, and is a World Health Organisation leader in specialised medical services, with a strong chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Bogota also attracts business visitors with its busy exhibition and trade fair programme for the design, publishing and other sectors. There is 24-hour access to the Bogota Chico Office, which has a secure underground car park. It is close to good public transport connections, including the new Transmilenio bus system.
